On a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Salcombe, with sweeping estuary views, this property is a charming holiday home that the owners wanted to update, ready for holiday letting as well as private use. 

A complete renovation, the house had always been used as a second home and was in much need of some TLC, and 21st-century amenities. We installed new plumbing and electrics throughout, and reconfigured some of the spaces with new stud work to optimise its use for the family and their guests.

We also added three new bathrooms and an entirely new kitchen, painting and decorating both inside and outside the property. The home had an understated, classic look and feel that the family wanted to retain and enhance using soothing hues for the paintwork, and adding panelling in the bedrooms for character and sense of warmth. 

The finishing details included fitted joinery for optimised storage, as well as a new log burner for those cooler evenings.
